Tehran Airport Salam Terminal

Tehran Airport Salam Terminal was inaugurated in June 2019 as the new international terminal. It had  to began operations in June 2016 but it was posponed due to the US sanctions against Iran

Initially meant to operate hajj flights, now is the sole international terminal in IKIA Airport, whilst Tehran Airport Terminal 1 is only for domestic flights. 

Salam Terminal is able to host 5 million passengers per year. 

In the nearly future, Salam Terminal will also operate domestic flights. 

Levels

Tehran Airport Salam Terminal is distributed into three levels with 52 service counters and 9 boarding gates.

Iranian cultural architecture is wide present at Salam Terminal combined with latest technology (jet bridges). 

The terminal is also equipped with a ground transportation centre and a parking lot.
